For over forty years we’ve strived to inspire change and nurture growth, and our teams are made up of people who take pride in what they do every day. We know that together we can make a difference for the future of our planet and the wellbeing of our customers
Over forty years ago, we began to turn our family’s farmland over to sustainable, organic farming, first in Staffordshire and then in the Cotswolds.
What began as a simple passion for real food and a desire to feed our children better has grown into Daylesford as we know it today, one of the most sustainable organic farms in the UK.
We believe that when people eat natural, organic food, they can taste the difference.
It’s a chain of goodness that begins with healthy soil, and finishes with healthy animals and people. All Daylesford products have full organic certification from the Soil Association.
What we do…….
Our Farm - We farm responsibly, mindfully, with intelligence and with a conscience. We hold ourselves accountable for our ethical and environmental standards and welcome the opportunity to show you what we do.
Our Creamery - Each day our Creamery produces organic full fat, skimmed and semi-skimmed milk, cream and a range of award-winning cheese.
Our Bakery - Our Bakery on our farm freshly bakes award-winning organic bread, cakes and pastries each day, shaped by hand in the true artisan way without the use of additives or chemicals. Our bread is in our farmshops a few hours after leaving our Bakery.
Our Market Garden - We grow over 300 varieties of seasonal organic fruit, vegetables, salad leaves and herbs on our 28 acre Market Garden at Daylesford, including many unusual and heritage varieties.
Our Animals - At Daylesford our animals roam freely on our farm’s organic pastures, and are mostly fed on organic crops we grow ourselves. All our animals are raised to Soil Association Organic Standards – all of which we exceed.
Our Kitchens - A dedicated artisan team in the Kitchens of Daylesford on the farm make our award-winning ‘real meals’,all made by hand as you would at home using only the freshest organic ingredients in season.
Our Farmshops & Cafes - We have four locations in London, each with farmshop, café and retail areas.Our flagship location in the Cotswolds also includes several options for dining and drinking, our Cookery School, our Bamford Wellness Spa, our Garden room and Workshop, a Garden workshop and much more, all just steps away from our organic farm.
