Taking on a pub tenancy is an affordable route to becoming a pub landlord. A Trust Inns’ pub tenancy means that you are renting, not buying, premises from us for a fixed amount of time.
During the tenancy you will be self-employed and it becomes your responsibility to employ bar and kitchen staff and pay their wages. You will pay rent on a regular basis, which is reviewed at regular intervals. You will also be responsible for fixtures and fittings including glassware.
Part of the tenancy and lease agreement will also mean that you will participate in a ‘tied agreement’, which means hat you will agree to purchase beer, lager and cider from Trust Inn’s approved suppliers.
Many see a pub tenancy as a more cost-effective way to enter the industry.

We offer a range of agreements ranging from 1, 3 and 10 year leases to suit all level of pub business operators. We currently have two types of lease agreement available; the Trust Inns’ Business Development Lease (3 year and 10 year terms), and a 1 year Tenancy Agreement.
