167 Catering Support Regiment RLC is a unique regiment of nationally recruited Army Reserve Chefs. With its headquarters in Grantham, its primary role is to provide catering support to the British Army, anywhere and in any environment.

We are the only Regiment in the British Army, who are comprised solely of Chefs.  It is our mission,  to provide Chefs for the Regular and Reserve Army, when they need our support to feed the troops.

We are a National Reserve Unit so we employ and train people from all over the UK, we have our own training establishment here in Grantham where we can train people who have a passion for cooking into Chefs, and Soldiers - Part-time.

We also provide training and guidance to anyone that wishes to become a Reserve Army Chef, all the way through the various courses that are required to give them the skills and ability’s that they will need, to become professional member of the Reserve Army.

At this present time, we have chefs deployed in various locations throughout the UK, assisting the NHS and other organisations in the fight against Covid – 19.

We have so much to offer young people with a mass of great benefits that comes with being a member of the Army Reserve.

Our personnel deploy world-wide with the British Army and with the Royal Navy on the aircraft carrier, HMS Queen Elizabeth.

What’s more our Army Reserve Chefs have the opportunity to fast-track into the Regular Army.
