Launched in 2015 and now celebrating 5 incredible years, Sexy Fish is an Asian restaurant in Mayfair and bar located on the corner of Berkeley Square, serving Japanese-inspired sushi, sashimi, seafood, fish and meat cooked on a Robata grill.
Chef Director, Bjoern Weissgerber is a true master of his art. A perfectionist, this eccentric German-Swede has trained with some of the greats in the industry. Awarded a Michelin star at 27 when he was running Ca’s Puers in Mallorca in 2002, Bjoern’s experience is vast, diverse and led him to us at Sexy Fish.
Leading a team of 54, his ethos is simple. As a man who loves to eat, he believes in creating healthy food that tastes good and looks Sexy. He strives for balance and perfection in his flavours, textures and ingredients.
With our unique site designed by Martin Brudnizki Design Studio and decorated with art by Damien Hirst, Frank Gehry and Michael Roberts, the look and feel is mid-century glamour and opulence. The restaurant and bar is open seven days a week, with a resident DJ daily. A private dining space, The Coral Reef Room, is located on the lower ground floor and houses two of the largest live coral reef tanks in the world.
Our bar, holds the world’s biggest Japanese whisky collection, as well as offering a drinks menu featuring both classic and inventive cocktails.

The Caprice group encompasses London’s favourite restaurants, from some of the oldest and most classic establishments in London to its most exciting and innovative new openings. The group covers a members’ club in The Ivy Club; and a thriving catering company in Urban Caprice, listed at the Natural History Museum, Kensington Palace and the Saatchi Gallery. In recent years, there have been two major refurbishments in Daphne’s and the Private Dining Rooms at Scott's & Balthazar. Opening of a number of sister restaurants to The Ivy under the moniker of The Ivy Collection, with close to 40 so far, including restaurants in Edinburgh, Leeds, Manchester and Cheltenham. Last, but by no means least, our much-talked-about Sexy Fish.
Although each restaurant in the Caprice group is very different, they share a devotion to quality, demonstrated in the sourcing, seasonality, preparation and presentation of their food and drink, in the imagination of their design and in the warmth and skill of their service and world class training.
