Panku

 

Started by two friends Neil Nugent and Andy Upton, Panku brings together favourite flavours of Pan- Asian food from Japan, Korea and Thailand. The first of 20 street food stands open inside Asda stores from March 2020. With both meals and snacks, customers will be able to buy from a selection of Katsu Curry, Hand rolled sushi, plant-based meals, Korean bulgogi, fried chicken and noodles.

 

How Panku began....... Neil & Andy have been friends and worked together for a long time, Andy being a content creator & machine learning technology developer, and Neil the great chef with an almost incomparable experience of food culture, over the years working on projects with Heston Blumenthal and Raymond Blanc - Great Times!

 

The story goes that Brits took curry to Japan and it's one of their favourite national dishes. Yes, you are going to see some traditional dishes such as our crowd pleaser, chicken katsu, but you will also see our sushi burritos and our sushi sandwiches. They will put a smile on your face. We’ve got a great team helping to make Panku and this amazing food available to everyone at home. Panku is available exclusively at Asda.
