- HB Leisure
HB Leisure is the World Leader in Skill Games.
HB Leisure (HBL) owes its name to Mr. Harold Burt, who opened his first family arcade premises in North Wales, in 1932.
Today, the business has expanded beyond all recognition to become world leader in Skill Games: operating our games in over 90 major theme parks and attractions spread throughout the world. HBL games staff now bring their unique friendly touch to over 100 million guests, who win in excess of $20m worth of prizes every year whilst enjoying the challenge of our games.
At HBL our total focus is on creating an outstanding guest experience – games that are full of fun and excitement for all the family. With top quality prizes and generous win rates we seek to provide excellent value for money for all.
Case study & A day in the life off
I joined HB Leisure when I was 16 years old straight from school, my job started as a way to earn some money in the summer holidays and weekends whilst I studied at collage. My career at HBL developed and I became a Cluster Manager (UK & Ireland) before starting my current position in Saudi Arabia. One of the best things about working for HB Leisure is the ability to travel with work, especially the flexibility and the number of places HBL now operates in. I have been to 14 different countries whilst working for HB Leisure and rewarded for performance and have had great opportunities to grow.
I started in Gardaland as a Games Operator, and after a relatively short-time I was offered the role of Assistant Manager, and 2 years later I became the Games Manager at Mirabilandia.
My role isn’t that of not your typical “office” manager, and I prefer to stay on the ground being more hands on meeting the daily challenges. My ambition is to manage a bigger park and always beat last year’s targets.
