- All aspects of kitchen management including ordering of stock, stock control, people management and development, fostering a culture of teamwork, creativity, and continuous improvement.
- Working as part of a professional team within a highly organised, well-equipped kitchen.
- Contributing ideas towards seasonal changing menus and weekly specials.
- Experience as a Sous Chef or Junior Sous Chef within a similar kitchen environment and/or hospitality setting.
- Excellent knowledge of classical cooking techniques as well as in-depth product knowledge.
- Proficient and knowledgeable on all Food Safety and Health & Safety legislation.
- Exposure to back-office procedures including stock control and payroll management would be beneficial.
- A track record of people development, or for the right candidate, a strong appetite to enhance and develop those skills.
- Can communicate effectively with all departments in the spirit of the company values.
- Has the Right to Work in the UK.
