Location: Valentines Mansion and Gardens, Emerson Rd, Ilford IG1 4XA
Type: Permanent - 40 hours
We are looking for a passionate and dynamic Operations Manager to lead the daily operations of Valentines Mansion.
As the Operations Manager, you will be the key driver of the mansion's day-to-day activities using a keen eye for detail. You'll manage and support the duty management team and volunteers, ensuring smooth daily operations around our customer hires and a seamless visitor experience on our open days. Collaborating with our programming manager, you'll bring to life an array of exciting events and activities that captivate and inspire. Your role is pivotal in maintaining high standards of the building along with health and safety, and maintenance that a historic venue demands.
Externally, you'll engage with the Friends of Valentines Mansion Group, the Gardeners Cottage Café, and our talented in-house studio artists. You'll also build and nurture other valuable partnerships that enhance the mansion's offerings.
Internally, you'll coordinate closely with the Vision Venues Manager, along with the Customer Support Team, Programming manager, Head of Events, Halls Manager, and the Redbridge Museum Team to ensure our operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Job Requirements:
- Managing the day to day operations of Valentines Mansion
- Managing staffing and function set ups
- Helping deliver activities and events in partnership with the programming team
- Responsibility for health, safety and maintenance of the mansion
Essential Requirements:
- Experience working operationally within a venue
- Experience managing health and safety within a venue
