Sushi Chef de Partie

We are looking for an experienced and talented Sushi Chef De Partie to join the team of our fantastic restaurant, Ivy Asia, part of the Ivy Collection,  An Ivy Chef De Partie will possess a background in high volume and attention to detail. We invest time and development into this role ensuring our chef’s grow along with the business. The Ivy Collection can open many doors in your hospitality and catering career,  

The successful Sushi Chef de Partie will work closely with the Sushi and Sashimi Chefs ensuring the quality of dishes being prepared are consistent and meet the standards of the Head Sushi Chef. A Sushi Chef de Partie is responsible for ensuring the more junior chefs in the section are given clear direction and effectively supervised to be able to develop their knowledge and skills.

We are ideally looking for candidates who:

Have previous Sushi Chef experience in a busy, high quality Japanese restaurant, Good knowledge of Asian ingredients and techniques is essential, Have exceptional knife skills with the ability to create hand rolls and prepare fish, Have the ability to work under pressure maintaining standards and consistency, Have a passion for food and working with seasonal high quality ingredients.
