Slug & Lettuce MK The Hub

We have an amazing opportunity for a General Manager to join the team at our Slug & Lettuce in Milton Keynes. Slug & Lettuce Hub MK is a high performing, flagship site for our Slug & Lettuce Division. Situated in a fantastic city centre location with a high footfall. The Hub, Milton Keynes is a two floor, two bar late night venue and has a strong mid-week trading pattern, the site is predominately wet led with high food sales in comparison to the brand trend.

This is a large business situated at the Hub MK. As to be expected this will be a very popular business with great all-round trade and operates with an established, high volume of pre-booked trade. The food offer in an extremely important part of the sales mix Also famous for its great cocktails and fabulous wines the business moves through the day and ends the night as a superb place to have fun and party, especially on a Friday and Saturday.

The successful General Manager will have a charismatic and dynamic personality, someone who really understands what a quality offer looks like; excellent, consistent food and drink delivery, outstanding operational standards, and a passion for fantastic customer service. We are looking for a General Manager who has had previous experience in managing a high-volume business, especially with regard to food sales. You will be able to drive sales through innovative marketing, maximising the growing pre-booked sales trend and developing reasons to visit by using social media to its’ full potential, taking the venue to an even higher level of success.

As the General Manager of this business, you will be in-tune, knowledgeable and highly reactive to the local market trends. It is essential that you are an inspirational leader with a true belief in recruiting great people, training and coaching them to develop an exceptional team that has a passion for working in hospitality and delighting their Customers.

As a General Manager, you will need to be able to demonstrate great leadership skills and the ability to build a high performing team in order to control, develop and improve all aspects of the business including: P&L, people, standards, legal compliance, service and brand integrity.
