General Manager - Marquis of Granby

Salary - £33,000 - £36,000 + Accommodation

The Marquis is a truly exciting opportunity for a General Manager who is passionate about running a food led community business.

Superbly situated in the central of Hessle village, just outside Hull, The Marquis has a welcoming presence and can be seen from all directions.

The venue itself has the most wonderful beer garden and has been a hugely popular addition to this pub, refurbished and invested in early 2022, it has plenty of seating, screens, shade if required, along with flowers and greenery…. space for all the family.

With a two bar operation and a loyal customer base coupled with solid food sales which can be grown further, The Marquis has a superb reputation.

We also trade late on a Friday & Saturday night to cater for weekend party goers within the town as well as a superb reputation for the place to go to watch sport, so a keen interest in sport would be ideal.

The successful General Manager will be a customer facing leader who knows how to win over the locals and ensure they remain an integral part of the business.

As General Manager you will have previous experience managing a town centre local, you will also have a passion for developing your team and building strong relationships within the local community
