Marketing Manager – The Ivy Collection

The Marketing Manager is a key role in the wider Ivy Collection marketing team. They are responsible for both Field and Brand level marketing activities and are consummate team players who work with various internal stakeholders in order to achieve marketing objectives.

The key responsibilities of the Marketing Manager will include:

 Field Marketing

  • Responsible for delivering hyperlocalised annual, quarterly and monthly marketing plans for specific restaurants according to Marketing Strategy and site and area needs
  • Writing and/or commissioning engaging and on brand web copy for individual sites
  • Understanding the local community and identifying key opportunities for engagement
  • Be the marketing point of contact for site and regional leadership
  • Create monthly, quarterly and annual site and area marketing reports
  • Ensure a strong events calendar is in place per site for the full year
  • Manage all aspects of site web presence
  • Work with Social and PR team to update local social media pages and organise local media engagement
  • Work with CRM function to deliver effective localised email campaigns
  • Work effectively with the operations teams to create and deliver local marketing initiatives
  • Identify local community partnerships with like-minded brands to increase brand profile
  • Partner with Creative team to deliver any local site on-brand and on-strategy content
  • Work with the data agency to create customer profiles by site, and identify new markets and opportunities
  • Set, measure and report on KPIs and ROI

 Brand Marketing

  • Analyse need and opportunities for Brand campaigns, verticals (Private Dining, Gifting) and automated customer journeys in collaboration with Marketing, Finance, Operations, Groups and Reservation teams
  • Drive newsletter sign ups and engagement with interesting content which encourages bookings
  • Plan and brief brand wide campaigns
  • In collaboration with Creative team brief and manage the creation of on and offline marketing collateral to support key activations
  • Conduct market and competitor research 
  • New openings – team effort for ALL openings, but one marketing manager will take the lead
  • Create post activation reports to understand ROI and key learnings 
  • Work with the PR Team for Brand activations and influencer engagement 

 The ideal Marketing Manager will:

  • Currently be a Marketing Manager or experienced Marketing Executive within a high quality restaurant, hotel or fashion group
  • Has excellent Brief writing skills and understands Creative, CRM and Digital functions
  • Is results oriented and focused on KPIs and ROI
  • Have experience working with agencies to deliver successful projects
  • Passionate about food and restaurants and a keen interest in the food scene is desirable 
  • Have excellent copy writing skills and a good eye for design
  • A confident communicator with excellent written skills 
  • Be experienced in digital communication 
  • Historical experience with partnership marketing and event creation and planning 
  • Proactive with a can-do attitude with the ability to multitask
  • Must be a team player who is able to build long term collaborative relationships with the restaurant teams and other key stakeholders
  • Able to use Apple is desirable and Photoshop experience will be beneficial
