Apprentice Commis Chef
Duties of the role will include -
- Cleaning
- Use of equipment
- Knife skills
- Preparation: general veg prep, soups and sauces, meat
- Labelling
- Understanding recipes, portion size and costs
- Identifying products, cuts and food groups
- Stock rotation
- Team work & communication
- Front of House service
- Personal hygiene
You will also complete the following online training:
- Food Safety Level 2
- Allergen Awareness
- Health & Safety
- COSHH
- Manual Handling
- Coronavirus – taking pro-active action
