Duties of the role will include -

  • Cleaning
  • Use of equipment
  • Knife skills
  • Preparation: general veg prep, soups and sauces, meat
  • Labelling
  • Understanding recipes, portion size and costs
  • Identifying products, cuts and food groups
  • Stock rotation
  • Team work & communication
  • Front of House service
  • Personal hygiene

You will also complete the following online training:

  • Food Safety Level 2
  • Allergen Awareness
  • Health & Safety
  • Manual Handling
  • Coronavirus – taking pro-active action
