The location

Rhyd-y-creuau is set in the beautiful, rugged landscape of the Snowdonia National Park, yet close to secluded wooded valleys, rocky shores, beaches and traditional seaside resorts. Snowdonia was described as the 4th best location in the world for adventure activities by Lonely Planet in 2017 and is the nearest significant mountain area for a very large proportion of the British population. Snowdonia is the birthplace of British mountaineering and home to many of the hardest most challenging rock climbs in Britain today. It has been an inspiration to countless expeditions to the greater ranges.

Rhyd-y-creuau provides high quality outdoor, environmental, and adventurous learning opportunities for residential and day visits for schools or other groups, as well as adults and families.
