Uniform Room Manager

Must be very organised and preferably have an eye for styling. Good with people and managerial.

Reporting to site GM formally. Directed by head office uniform team.

Main duties;

·       Managers three other uniform room attendants and a seamster

·       Presenting staff members with their correct uniform and accessories when they arrive for their shift and “signing out” each piece to staff for accountability

·       Checking over staff uniform and personal presentation before they start on the floor each shift and enforcing uniform and aesthetic standards

·       Collecting in uniforms at the end of shifts and signing pieces back in

·       Checking over pieces for damage and losses

·       Reporting and logging damages and losses and charging staff members where appropriate

·       Organising dry-cleaning rota and ensuring necessary pieces are tended to by cleaners

·       Organising seamsters/ tailors for repairs and alterations

·       Organising invoicing for tailors and cleaners if necessary

·       Managing other uniform room attendants and team rota

·       Organising collection, ensuring it is kept to the highest standard, steamed and presentable for service

·       Ensuring accessories are returned after every shift and remain good for use for as long as possible

·       Ordering new pieces and liaising with head office team

·       Staying on top of stock quantities and ordering when stock is depleting

·       Ensuring that all new staff are fitted correctly and ordered for in due time

·       Ensuring that promotions within staff are covered for in uniform

·       Using initiative to overcome last minute hurdles / events etc and unexpected changes in plans.

·       Training new staff in personal presentation and uniform process upon onboarding and enforcing rules in aesthetic guide and uniform room etiquette
