Up to £10.70 per hour plus benefits

37.5 hours per week March to October and 22.5 hours per week November to February each year.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Field Studies Council (FSC), one of the UK’s leading providers of outdoor environmental education. Field Studies Council is a pioneering environmental education charity committed to enabling people discover, explore, understand, and be inspired by the world around us. Established in 1943, our network of Learning Locations provide day and residential courses for all ages, from young children to retired adults, from schools and communities throughout the UK, reaching many others through our publications and community-based programmes.

The main purpose of the role will be supporting the management of the office systems and to provide critical administrative support to the learning location team to enable a highly efficient working environment. This will include maintaining the booking system, producing invoices, and delivering the highest level of customer service and care at all times.

The post holder will require a minimum of 5 GCSEs or equivalent, to include English & Maths, or appropriate vocational experience; experience of working within an administrative role; and experience of interacting with customers via phone and email. Key to this appointment will be a flexible approach and willingness to adapt to changes within the learning location along with a positive contribution to a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.
