Hours: 37 hours per week, normally worked over a seven-day rota and including weekend and evening shifts

Salary: £20,000 pa

Showroom Workstation is an integrated media arts complex operating a café/bar, conference and events facilities, four-screen cinema and creative industries managed workspace.

We are seeking a Sous Chef, to produce and maintain a high quality and consistent standard of food for all our clients, and to deputise in the absence of the Head Chef and Senior Sous Chef.

The postholder will drive, motivate and direct the kitchen team to ensure a high standard of quality, service and customer care and hygiene, to assist with menu development and planning and assist with risk assessments in line with food hygiene.

The successful applicant must have experience of working in a busy food operation, where speed and flexibility of service, are key, and must be able to deliver consistent quality food service, requiring a fine eye for detail and strong leadership.
