Detailed Job Description

Grantley Hall have an opportunity for an apprentice to join part of the people & talent team based at the Grantley Hall Academy. The role will involved coordinating all aspects of the training activity across all areas of the hotel. Delivering the 2-day induction programme and onboarding days for new starters. Alongside this, the successful applicant with work towards gaining a Level 3 Learning and Development Practitioner Qualifications.
Reporting into and supporting the Director of Learning & Development in this key development role. Strong ability to use Excel, Word and PowerPoint and manage own diary & workload and support the Director of Learning & Development. Able to work on own initiative with little supervision once tasks have been relayed. Good resilience and ability to adapt this ever-changing environment, with a keen eye for detail and managing the processes and practices in place as part of the academy training offerings. Ability to evaluate training and ensure deadlines are met, supporting the operational team in delivering the training where needed. A confident communicator and training/ presentation skills are essential for this role.

Qualifications Required

No specific qualifications are required however maths and English will be assessed as part of the interview process.

Future Prospects

Progression for the right candidate to a more senior role once evidence of abilities and competency has been shown over a period of time and successful completion of the apprenticeship

Wage is negotiable depending on experience and age range.

Learning and development Practitioner Level 3
Maths and English if required

Expected Duration

18-24 months

Working Week

40 hours per week. Monday 8.30am - Friday 5pm (there may be some shifts out of these hours)
