Detailed Job Description

Hub is a well established feature on the St Ives harbour front and an essential stop off for great coffee, fabulous cakes and amazing food. In the evening they are the ideal place for fantastic burgers, sipping cocktails or sampling one of their local and international craft beers.
Hub have an exciting opportunity for an apprentice to join their bar team, learn the trade and work towards gaining a Level 2 Hospitality Team Member Qualification.
You must have a genuine love for producing amazing drinks and serving customers. Attention to detail is a must with care for quality in every drink you make.
Duties will include:
Stock management
Speed of service
Cellar management
Cocktail making
Cash handling
Barista skills
Customer service
A desire to work in a fast paced bar and obsession for service is important.

Skills Required

Some previous bar & cellar experience is an advantage or previous experience in a customer focused role is required as this a busy and lively site.
Able to take instructions
Able to work as part of a team
Able to work under pressure

Qualifications Required

Grades C/4 or above in maths and English is an advantage but not essential.
Maths and English will be assessed as part of the interview process.
