An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Chef de Partie to join the team at Two Bridges Hotel, Dartmoor. This is an excellent step into fine Dining at a 2 Rosette Hotel. requires a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the team, learn the trade and work towards gaining a Level 2 Qualification.
Key responsibilities:
Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes within your speciality
Managing and training any demi-chef de parties or commis working with you
Helping the sous chef and head chef to develop new dishes and menus
Ensuring you and your team have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety
Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margin

Skills Required

As head of your section you need to be confident enough to manage the commis chefs working with you - and to give them clear instruction

Personal Qualities

Someone who has lots of stamina and enjoys the fast pace of working in a kitchen. You also need to be able to stay calm and work as part of a team during a frenetic service.

Qualifications Required

To be qualified and competent at Level 2 Commis Chef.
Maths and English will be assessed as part of the interview process
