Detailed Job Description
Working in all aspects of the hospitality industry the successful candidate will learn a wide range of food preparation and cooking skills. In addition, the apprentice will serve customers displaying fantastic customer service and communication skills.
The apprentice will be trained in all aspects of a professional catering environment including:
Food preparation and cooking
Health and Safety
Working in a team
Preparing and cooking a range of hot and cold foods
Following food safety and health and safety procedures
Arranging the service area to present food in a professional manner
Good time management
Excellent communication skills
The right attitude, a positive work ethic and the ability to communicate with a range of people are the most important skills.

None needed but maths and english will be assessed as part of the interview process.
After completing this apprenticeship you will be able to progress within the industry and continue to develop your skills.
All of our apprentices complete the Duke of Edinburgh's Award. This is done in work time and supported by the company.
Applicants must be aged 18 and over for Health and Safety reasons.
Training to be Provided
Commis Chef L2 Standard.
Functional skills (maths and english) if needed.
35 hours p/w Monday-Friday
