Hospitality Team Member Apprenticeship

Learning the opening and closing procedures on a daily basis, including how to keep the bar and customer areas clean and well organised, how the both areas must be presented well and kept tidy at all times

Learning how to pour and serve drinks efficiently and effectively, giving a swift, efficient and friendly service to all customers.

How to run the cellar, tapping and changing barrels, cleaning the lines on a regular basis. Organising the bottles and keeping the fridges filled and rotated.

Understanding and learning how to do a beer order through the various breweries.

Keeping up to date with what matches are being played, which sports etc. on TV and then helping to promote them to attract more customers who are interested in sports, through social media , blackboards outside the Recreation centre.

Being able to chat to customers about sports and maybe get involved in the pool team, darts team, football or cricket teams.

Understanding the importance of keeping the whole recreation centre clean especially important due to Covid 19 and keeping everything well sanitised to keep our customers safe.

Working closely and shadowing our manager.
