Food Controller - London Stadium

Delaware North UK is hiring for a Food Controller to join our London Stadium team. Delaware North is a global leader in hospitality at sporting venues, national parks, airports, and casinos in North America, the UK and Australia.  In the UK you can find us at iconic venues like the above alongside, Wembley Stadium and Emirates Stadium.

A day in the life of a Food Controller:

• Manage and control of the entire stock logistics operation within the venue.
• Manage the day-to-day ordering, receiving and distribution of stock from external contractors and suppliers within the venue.
• Be accountable for all stocktaking and auditing of food stock across the venue.
• To produce food stock forecasts in line with the venue business trading requirements.
• Ensure there are sufficient food stock levels to trade successfully daily based on forecast across the venue.
• Work closely with the venue senior team and General Manager to manage food wastage effectively.

What we’re looking for:

Essential Experience

• Previous experience in a high volume logistically challenging environment.
• Evidence of strong people management skills and leadership qualities with strong communication and written skills.
• Advanced IT and accounting skills with experience in purchasing systems.
• Extensive knowledge of the food and beverage industry.
• Team leadership, training, and delegation skills.
• Knowledge and experience with manual handling.

Desirable Experience

• Forklift License
• Understanding of administration and information of suppliers and suppliers.
