The Angel at Burford has been run by the King family since 2011 and is loved by both visitors and locals for it's blend of Cotswold Charm. delicious food and drink and a warm, friendly welcome. They are proud winners of 'Cotswold Pub of the Year' in 2015,2016 and 2017, making it a must stop spot in the area.
An exciting opportunity has arisen at The Angel at Burford for a keen apprentice to join their busy kitchen team, learn the trade and work towards gaining a Level 2 Commis Chef Qualification.
Duties will include:
• Ingredient preparation
• Cooking meals through various different cooking methods
• Plating up and presentation of food
• Taking instruction from senior chefs
• Cleaning and clearing down work stations
• Working in a safe manner at all times
• Portion control

None required, however, Maths and English will be assessed as part of the interview process.
Future Prospects
You will be working towards a full time position should one be available at the end of your apprenticeship.

Commis Chef apprenticeship including Level 2
Maths and English if required
Expected Duration
12 Months
Working Week
30 hours a week to include evenings and weekends
Things to consider
You will be required to work evenings and some weekends on a rota based system.
