We are looking for an Assistant Restaurant Manager!

Farmacy is a unique plant-based restaurant and bar, located in Notting Hill, London.

Our mission is to serve delicious, nourishing food and drinks in beautiful surroundings, whilst caring for both our health and our planet.

Currently open for lunch and dinner, the menu at Farmacy is inspired by dishes from around the globe, all free from dairy, refined sugars, additives and chemicals.

We offer Brunch on the weekend and High Tea Friday – Sunday.

We are fully licensed and offer an eclectic list of natural wines and beautiful cocktails made with the highest quality ingredients.

We have a Biodynamic Kitchen Garden in Kent and we work closely with our Head Gardener to ensure our menus stay as seasonal and fresh as possible.

About the candidate/ role:

To apply for the role, you must have previous experience of managing or supervising a busy restaurant and leading a team. It is crucial that you have experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and that you can think on your feet.

Together with the rest of the management team, you will be responsible for the daily running of the restaurant, including doing rotas, giving staff feedback, contributing to management meetings and setting an example for the rest of the team.

You will be ensuring the standards of service are exceptionally high at all times, that the FOH team is trained and knowledgeable, and that we offer a professional, warm and hospitable environment for both our team and our guests.

You must be a strong communicator and have great people skills.

You must be proficient in health and safety practices with a strong emphasis on hygiene.

Zero wastage and sustainability are both part of our core values and you will actively be looking for solutions and working with the team on implementing any new procedures.

You will be an enthusiastic, natural leader who motivates, trains, inspires and develops the FOH team together with the rest of the management team. Ensuring high standards of service, consistency and a strong sense of team-work between FOH and BOH.

Whilst we don’t expect you to be plant-based; it is key that you are genuinely interested in plant-based cooking and dining ,and that you are willing to put in the time to educate yourself on plant-based cooking and biodynamic farming.
