Lead Chef (Retail) - Emirates Stadium

Delaware North UK is hiring for a Lead Chef (Retail) to join our Emirates Stadium team. Delaware North is a global leader in hospitality at sporting venues, national parks, airports, and casinos in North America, the UK and Australia.  In the UK you can find us at iconic venues like the above alongside, Wembley Stadium and The London Stadium.

A day in the life of a Lead Chef (Retail)

• Liaise with the Executive Head Chef and senior managers on a regular basis to ensure service standards are consistently exceeding expectations.
• Assist the wider culinary team with menu planning and design for event day operations and Meeting and Events across both locations.
• Manage event day concessions food production in line with par levels and business needs across the locations.
• Liaise with the culinary team to manage and control concession food purchasing, in a timely manner whilst undertaking the company approved ordering methods and channels.
• Represent the culinary team at menu tastings as required.
• To ensure that all management stock reports are completed in line with the requirements of the organisation and are a true and accurate reflection of the stock holding at any given time.

Essential Experience:

• Hold appropriate culinary qualifications.
• Experience of working in a large volume environment.
• Product quality focused and a hands-on leader.
• Experience of Leading a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work flexibly.
• An understanding of financial targets

Desirable Experience:

•  Experience of working in a Concessions large scale environment.
