Commis Chef

We are looking for a highly driven individual to join our fast paced, award-winning team at the Black Bull Hotel in Reeth.

This would suit someone who can learn quickly, follow instructions/recipes, and help with running a service.

Job Duties include:

Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner.

Follow recipes and presentation specifications.

Assist in cooking and plating dishes during service times.

Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.

Maintain a clean working station whilst adhering to health & safety standards.

Assist with the cleaning and organization of kitchen and equipment.

Restock items as needed throughout the shift.

Adhere to all food hygiene & safety standards.

 

Experience is not essential as all appropriate training will be provided.

We are looking for 4 afternoons / evenings a week and 1 weekend on 3 to begin with plus holiday cover, with a possibility of more hours once established, although we have some flexibility for the right person

Due to our location, we recommend you have your own transport if you do not live local, however accommodation may be available at a future point
