About Employer

An experience of fine dining Bath is lucky to have
Bath is surrounded by soft green hills and beautiful, rolling countryside. How lovely for it, you say. But wait: those hills are home to muscular, well-fed animals. That countryside teems with an abundance of fruit and vegetables. Highly revered by other top restaurants, Bath is lucky to have the Olive Tree. Our restaurant uses these local riches to create a frequently-changing menu of beautiful, fresh, seasonal dishes.
Sample them at a thrillingly-priced lunch or linger longer over dinner. But do sample them.
Proud to be one of Bath’s longest established independent restaurants, the 3 AA Rosette Olive Tree provides one of the best experiences of fine dining Bath has to offer.
The restaurant continues to receive rapturous praise from guests and locals alike, making new friends and winning awards each year, not just for its food but for its brilliant wine list too. It sits snugly in the basement of the Queensberry Hotel, which has recently been awarded an extra AA star, taking it to four. Priding itself on blending old-fashioned attitudes to service and detail with sophisticated, modern comfort, this is one of the finest Bath boutique hotels, proudly independent and run by a husband and wife, Laurence & Helen Beere. It is stylish and slightly eccentric, being the result of four lovely old townhouses coming together to create a truly one-off hotel.
Beneath it, this contemporary British restaurant offers informal fine dining under the direction of award winning head chef, Chris Cleghorn, who honed his superior skills as the protégé of a trio of world-renowned Michelin Star chefs, (Heston Blumenthal, Michael Caines and Adam Simmonds).
Using a combination of classical flavours with modern cooking techniques, Chris creates his own unique style, crafting menus that showcase the best of Bath and the best of British.
