National Account Manager - Sports & Students

to £28,000 + bonuses + benefits

Stonegate Group is looking for a National Accounts Manager to join our Sales teams. As the UKs biggest Pub group, we have a huge range of bars and pubs, with a strong focus on our Student bars. As NAM for Sports and Students, you’ll focus on building sales channels that drive bookings around sporting events and student led sites. Using and growing our partnerships with booking agencies and third party resellers, the National Accounts Manager for Sports & Students is a great role if you have a great track record of working with sports teams and student groups.

The role of National Accounts Manager is a network-driven role that requires excellent relationship building and account management skills, a deep understanding of the sales strategy and an ability to develop and actualise a systematic approach to maximising opportunities within a Sport and Student environment.

Key responsibilities of a National Account Manager;

Account Management

  • Keeping in constant contact with all Sport and Student partners to fully understand their requirement, while demonstrating the value and benefits of all our available venues.
  • Deal with all enquiries and questions within a maximum of 2 hours.
  • Update listing information as required.
  • Arrange and manage quarterly face-to-face meeting to nurture relationships.
  • Work with Operational and Marketing colleagues on account requirements.

Reporting

  • Follow & implement regular business updates including marketing briefs, operational changes, business processes and key focus areas.
  • Weekly communication on sales performance against budget and reporting on variances. In addition to this you may be required to complete weekly and period forecasting, as requested.
  • Drive the pipeline of sales through relationship building.
  • Be aware of Digital campaigns and engage with any booking leads on the back of centrally driven campaigns.
  • Write proposals based on account needs.
