Demi Chef de Partie at The Langham London Hotel

The Langham, London; Europe’s first Grand Hotel and Forbes 5* rated property, is currently recruiting for a Demi Chef de Partie to join our talented team in our Banqueting Kitchen. In this role, you will be responsible for the operation of the kitchen to design, execute and improve the delicious selection for private dining, whether it is a corporate or social setting.

In the role of Demi Chef de Partie, your key focus will be to:

  • work well in a team and be passionate about learning
  • ensure that the highest standards are maintained at all times
  • ensure that the kitchen areas designated, equipment and utensils are always kept clean and tidy to the standards required by the Hotel
  • follow closely the recipe specifications to ensure consistency of the food
  • ensure all mise-en-place is set up accordingly

Do you have? –

  • previous similar experience, ideally within a 5* luxury hotel environment with large banqueting operations
  • ability to work independently and unsupervised
  • good interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to multi-task and work under pressure
  • excellent attention to detail
  • food safety training along with relevant culinary qualifications
