Your passion for food preparation and desire to give our residents’ a great dining experience will make you a success in this role. You don’t need to have experience; we’ll give you the skills and training you need to be successful in this important role.

As our Kitchen Assistant you will assist our Chef in
- preparing and cooking a variety of nutritious meals for our residents.
- An important part of your role will to keep the kitchen clean, safe and tidy at all times whilst on shift.
- You will also help with serving meals and will interact with our residents on a daily basis - so you’ll be friendly, caring and kind whilst respecting our resident’s dignity at all times. Here’s some other important things you need to know:
-You’ll need to understand and comply with statutory and legal requirements such as HACCP, Health & Safety, COSHH and Environmental Health.
-You’ll ensure that all kitchen equipment is in full, safe working order, immediately report any faults to the Chef and the Head Caretaker
