Kitchen Manager @ The Par + Eagle - Prestwick Airport

At SSP UK we now are recruiting for a talented and experienced Kitchen Manager to lead our team at the Par + Eagle Bar and Kitchen at Prestwick Airport.

We are 'The Food Travel Experts'. We are the leading operator of restaurants, bars, cafes and food courts in travel locations. Established for more than 60 years, our operations feature a mix of food and beverage brands tailored specifically for each location. You will be joining a world-leading food service organisation with superb learning, development and progression opportunities, operating over 400 stores in the UK alone. 

Managing a team of 6, you will be instrumental in motivating and developing them to deliver high-quality food, made to set specifications, consistently. You will also be responsible for supporting in the delivery of operational and financial results such as GP and stock control, and ensuring the kitchen is staffed to meet business needs within budget, as well as ensuring compliance with health & safety, food hygiene and licensing requirements. 

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Kitchen Management experience within a high-volume bar or restaurant or similar branded commercial kitchen environment.
• Strong people management skills to lead, motivate and develop your team for future progression.
• Commercial acumen and knowledge of the financial controls required when running a kitchen - cost control, stock and labour management, GP targets and P&L reviews.
