About the role
Sodexo are looking for a trainee food prep technician to join their team and complete a Commis Chef apprenticeship as well as gain skills, knowledge and learn cooking techniques.

They will show you the ropes, raise your confidence and push you to reach professional standards – all under the guidance of their accomplished chefs. It’s a full-time, salaried job that counts towards a nationally recognised level 2 qualification.
Duties will include:
• Ingredient preparation
• Cooking meals through various different cooking methods
• Plating up and presentation of food
• Taking instruction from senior chefs
• Cleaning and clearing down work stations
• Working in a safe manner at all times
• Portion control

Qualifications Required

None required, however, Maths and English will be assessed as part of the interview process

Level 2 Commis chef Apprenticeship.
Maths and English if required.

Expected Duration

12 Months

Working Week

Monday to Friday 7am - 3pm. 40 hours a week
