Head Chef - The Commission, Heathrow Terminal 4

The Commission is a casual all-day dining concept created exclusively for the airport and with this comes the requirements of a fabulous team.  Located airside in the terminal, the 170-seater restaurant will be open every day from first to last flight.

Determined, vivacious, effervescent and understanding; many would not associate these four words with an early morning start, but in our airports at Delaware North we live and breathe them. Our staff need to encompass these words as we need you to be able to carry out your duties tirelessly with a smile on your face to put our customers at ease. Our customers are unique in airports as they are often nervous, anxious, dealing with delays, excited, tired. Whatever, the emotion, we are there to share the excitement, empathise the delays and put at ease the nerves. It is ever changing, but always rewarding, which is why we need you to join our new adventure and be part of the team that will showcase the best that we can be.

We are now looking for a Head Chef to lead our Culinary team on a permanent full time basis. The  restaurant is open every day from first to last flight meaning the ideal candidate will be able to either start early (5.30am) or work late (11pm) on a rota basis, so the ideal candidates will need to be flexible. 

If you have previous experience of working within a fast past high street restaurant, thrive on working under pressure and have the ability to multi task whilst managing a workforce of Chefs and Back of House Team members - then we need to hear from you!

Qualifications

As this role is working airside at an airport you will need to provide 5 years of complete check able references with no gaps, own a valid passport or UK driving licence and complete a DBS.
