Baba Ganoush are an award-winning catering team based in the incredible larder of Yorkshire. At the heart of their family-business is a genuine love of great food. Using fresh, seasonal and locally-sourced ingredients delivered daily to their kitchen, they love nothing more than bringing people together to share it. From intimate to epic, rustic to formal, they create bespoke menus for weddings and events of all sizes across the North of England.
Baba Ganoush now have a fantastic opportunity for a keen apprentice to join their team, learn the trade and work towards gaining a Level 2 Hospitality Team Member Qualification.
The successful individual will be working alongside the events team in order to plan and carry out events within the calendar. They will be working on events from planning, right through to holding and finishing each event. The role will include bespoke event planning and running, alongside our team, organisation and promotion on social media platforms as well as assisting with some aspects of sales.
Duties to include:
Working alongside the events team to communicate the companies offering in events and adapt this to the customers requirements and needs.
Learning more about different approaches to events and goliding events.
Working alongside the sales team in order to secure resources and bookings going forward, with the planning and carrying out of events.
Understand and demonstrate the organisational standards and operations in order to make sales on events and run events.
Working with this close team to deliver a variety of events and the planning of these events with the supplies you have available and brand standards.
Planning event briefs and having all resources available for such events.

Qualifications Required

None required, however, Maths and English will be assessed as part of the interview process.

Future Prospects

The possibility of a full time position on successful completion of the Apprenticeship.

Other Information

Wage negotiable after probationary period
Planned days off as Sunday and Monday

Working Week

38 Hours a week
