General Manager - The Bull, Rugby

Salary £33,000 p.a. + Possible live in

Situated on the pedestrianised Sheep Street within Ruby town centre. The Bull is much loved within the local community and benefits from passing trade throughout the week, alongside seasonal events within the town centre.

A traditional wet only, single bar “Proper Pub” offering a great selection of cask ales featuring in the Rugby Camra guide as well as a great viewing experience for or customers when it comes to sport with BT & Sky shown on multiple screens, couple this with entertainment at the weekend and you get a great mix of customers.

As General Manager of the Bull you will really focus on building that ever-important reason to visit, either by making the quiz nights bigger and better, enhancing the experience for the fans watching the live sport or getting the right entertainment. You will be keen to tap into the local area and see where you can make a positive impact on the local community to drive awareness and sales further.

Our ideal General Manager will relish the opportunity to be the face of the pub, your guests will know you by name and will love you for all the things that you will do to make ‘their local’ even better! You will be able to develop a team and manage all aspects of the business in regards safety and controls, but over all a passion for creating the best pub with the best people in Rugby, through developing local relationships within the town and its local communities is a must.
