Bartender (Tuesday to Saturday)

The Langham, London; Europe’s first Grand Hotel and Forbes 5* rated property, is currently recruiting for a Bartender at The Wigmore, an upscale luxury tavern.The Wigmore, which bagged best cocktail at ‘London Cocktail Week’ in 2017, serves great wines, cask ales and craft beers including The Wigmore’s very own house “Saison”, brewed in partnership with Yonder Brewing.The food has received excellent comments from both food critics and guests.In this role, we are looking for a true hospitality professional, with the flair to deliver service at the highest level.

In the role of Bartender, your key focus will be to:

  • develop memorable cocktails and offering spirts, wines and beers
  • prepare any other beverage that are requested by guests
  • delivering an excellent experience for guests
  • have flair, charisma and charm in a theatrical environment
  • be immaculately presented, attentive and proactive with the ability to respond quickly to needs of our guests
  • be an excellent team player with exceptional communication skills
  • ensure that licensing laws and health and safety matters are adhered to

Do you have? -

  • similar experience in a quality gastropub
  • the ability to work under pressure
  • to ability to multitask – engage with guests sitting at the bar whilst preparing drinks
  • the ability adapt swiftly and seamlessly to situations that arise
  • a passion in ensuring a delightful experience for clients and guests alike
  • good communication skills and very good level of English
