An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced high-volume food operator who has a passion for food in this amazing location in Danson Country Park.
The business was built in the 1700's, was originally a stable block belonging to the mansion house in the park.
The Danson Stables is a beautiful business located in Danson Country Park. The trade peaks in the warmer summer months as the locals use the country park. The trade is approx. 50/50 food to wet spilt. It will have a single bar operation with a separate function room suitable for parties and the many functions we get from Danson House, also in the park, which is the local registry office.
It has a large courtyard garden at the entrance to the pub and a separate side garden which is accessed through the pub. It is a great meeting point locally for running groups, walking groups and dog walkers who all use the park.
The successful applicant must have a strong food background, be able to deliver outstanding standards, a passion for delivering our great Classics offer through their team, be a part of the local community and ensure their business is the first choice for those that love a great pub! They will also have the commercial acumen to drive events business through the function room in this stunning business.
Previous experience of managing a business with over £8k food sales per week and function experience is ideally needed.
As a General Manager, you will need to be able to demonstrate great leadership skills and the ability to build a high performing team in order to control, develop and improve all aspects of the business including: P&L, people, standards, legal compliance, service and brand integrity.
We require all our General Managers to hold a Personal License.
