Eden Hotel Collection recognise that with such a varied mix of departments, it’s difficult to know which way to move forward in your career and therefore this apprenticeship enables you to experience different departments in order to help closely match your own personal skills and qualities against a role most suitable for you.
This apprenticeship will provide the opportunity for you to work with them on a full-time basis and to ‘earn while you learn’, setting you up with the very best skills, qualifications and experience to begin your career in the industry. They have partnered with ourselves - HIT Training to create a Level 2 Hospitality programme where instead of college day release, you will have a HIT Training Consultant come out to the hotel to carry out training and assessments with you. The successful candidate will work towards gaining a Level 2 Hospitality Team Member Qualification.
You will join Eden Hotel Collection in initially mastering food & beverage duties and as your training continues, so will your experience, allowing you to move around departments, covering various areas such as reception and housekeeping duties, all whilst being supported by your dedicated HIT trainer.
Duties to include (for the Food and Beverage initial training)
• Greeting customers at the table
• Taking orders
• Serving food and drink at the table
• Tidying tables
• Cash handling
• Booking tables
• Working as part of the team
• Adhering to all Health & Safety guidelines
• Providing all customers with great customer service
• Liaising with the kitchen
• Learning how to use the coffee machine
• Bar work
Skills Required
You will be a great communicator as well as a good listener and be capable of building great relationships with colleagues.

To be successful you will be passionate about working for a collection of hotels who pride ourselves on providing the wow factor for both guests and members, and is renowned for the highest standards of customer service.
It goes without saying that a positive ‘can do’ attitude is essential, along with a good sense of humour, team spirit, as well as a real and evident passion for the industry.
Qualifications Required
GCSE Maths and English of 'C/4' Grade or Functional skills equivalent.
Maths and English will be assessed as part of the interview process.
Future Prospects
Permanent employment guaranteed and progression to next level of apprenticeship upon successful completion of Apprenticeship programme and if operationally possible.
This apprenticeship will offer great prospects with a diverse Career Progression Pathway.
