Group Retail Manager

The Group Retail Manager, Shop Kit Kemp will be fundamental in expanding our retail (predominantly online) offering as well as managing a logistics team, an e-commerce team and the product range. This position will drive commercial growth, customer excellence and a seamless retail process from the online back end to final delivery. Excellent leadership skills, commercial acumen and entrepreneurial spirit are essential in this role .

 

This is a new role within the Kit Kemp Design Studio and is a very hands on role and the successful candidate will be expected to work in Brentford and our Design Studio based in South Kensington. This is a great opportunity to build up an already existing brand and build your own team.

 

Main Duties…

·       Responsibility for Shop Kit Kemp and the customer experience predominately online

·       Full P&L ownership of Shop Kit Kemp and management of all costs to support growth of sales exceeding budget targets – includes all retail pricing mix, to ensure this is inline.

·       Responsibility for refining all retail processes from opening to close, including visual merchandising, stock management and sales

·       Managing the end to end delivery online within budget with a hands on, proactive and organized approach

·       Managing and driving forward the logistics team, reviewing inventory management is in place, along with assessing holding stock

·       Managing the E-commerce team – ensuring analysis is reviewed and adapted to increase and optimise sales and the customer experience

·       People management; recruiting, training, leading and inspiring the retail team

 

Requirements

·       Experience in retail management and especially within the online retail operating world

·       Entrepreneurial spirit and willing to build a business from the ground up

·       Resilient, can do attitude with a laser focus on getting the job done

·       Thrives under pressure with impeccable skills in reporting and analysis across multiple systems

·       Excellent communication and operational skills at all levels

·       Accountability and responsible approach
