Working within Daniel Thwaites Head Office in a modern open plan space, you will be joining a team of highly experienced advisors.  Customer Contact is a one-stop shop for our customers in relation to everything that is needed to run a successful business.  You will be the key contact for providing a high level of customer service, This role incorporates sales, customer service and also reception duties.

Your day to day

  • Managing a daily call pool to secure weekly orders
  • Working closely with our customers, ensuring accurate order capture whilst demonstrating great product knowledge
  • Promoting and selling products
  • Dealing with both internal and external callers
  • Organising and responding to emails in the team inbox
  • Investigation and resolving of customer complaints and relaying difficult messages
  • Offering solutions and advice to customers in relation to a wide range of queries and issues
  • Being pro-active in a re-active situation and being able to help and support our customers
  • Covering the Reception area ensuring a professional image at all times. Providing a warm, friendly and memorable welcome to all Head Office visitors

Who are we looking for?

You will have strong communication skills as this role involves working closely with customers and internal personnel. You will have excellent IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office products, be a quick learner and demonstrate high attention to detail.

You will have a positive ‘can do’ attitude with the ability to work as part of a team, support colleagues and promote excellent team spirit. You will have a results’ driven approach and a desire to work within a fast-paced environment.

Problem solving skills are essential. We are looking for someone who can make quick decisions and be proactive in finding solutions.

Maintaining a positive, empathetic and professional attitude at all times and having the ability to stay calm when customers are stressed or upset.

Previous experience of working in a busy customer service environment is essential.
