This is a great opportunity for an established general manager to join the team at The Northumberland Arms. We are looking for a passionate FOH Manager who will be able to bring a community feel to this fantastic small traditional pub situated on Tottenham Court Road close to Warren Street tube station.

The Northumberland Arms operates under the City Tavern format, offering a great range of cask ale and a reduced sized City Tavern food menu offer. The site is a small traditional pub trading on one level / one room operation (approx. 30sq ft) with the kitchen positioned on the second floor of the building. The site also has a small external area which is surrounded by railings. The site has a late licence & trades until 1am during the week and 2am on a weekend.

We have a mixture of guests some local – NHS employees as UCH Hospital is in close proximity along with a big tourist trade.

The successful candidate will have had experience in working in a local’s pub where they will have delivered great service and standard resulting in their venue having a great on-line reputation. They will also be able to show how they have been able to build sales in a previous site.

As a General Manager, you will need to be able to demonstrate great leadership skills and the ability to build a high performing team in order to control, develop and improve all aspects of the business including: P&L, people, standards, legal compliance, service and
brand integrity.

We require all our General Managers to hold a Personal License.
