Head of Marketing Planning

We are looking for a Marketing Director of the future to join Stonegate Group’s Planning, Insights and Innovation team, to help shape the future of customer experience in our pubs, bars, and venues.

The Head of Marketing Planning will deliver a consistent, clear and effective annual marketing plan, driven by customer insight and data across our all our pubs, bars and venues

As Head of Marketing, you’ll lead in establishing a new category and planning function within the Marketing team whilst engaging with a network of senior stakeholders and board members to collate the annual Marketing calendar. You’ll bring together brand strategy and activity plans from the Heads of Brand and coordinate the holistic company marketing strategy into one plan.

Partnering with the brand marketing leads to ensure food and drink offer changes, campaigns and tactical marketing activity are delivered on time, you’ll ensure plans are in line with customer demand, feedback and maximising supplier support.

Data and insight will be vital to put the customer at the centre of our marketing plans, so you will need be familiar with extracting insight from multiple data sources and using that to drive action. You will work closely with the Category Manager to ensure that our brand and format propositions are in line with macro and local market customer trends. Finally, you will lead on measurement, ensuring that all marketing activity is measured, reviewed and learnings are taken and applied to future activity.

We’re looking for our new Head of Marketing Planning to have

  • Marketing qualification such as MBA, diploma or CIM
  • 5 years+ experience in Marketing, Consumer Planning or Insight experience
  • Category Planning or Category Management experience
