Weare Looking for a Production Chef apprentice. You will join our well-establishedteam of chefs who are looking forward to welcoming you into the team.

Weare an independent privately owned restaurant at the entrance to Springfield'sOutlets Spalding. The Kitchen has been in operation for 10 years and is wellestablished.

Weare open 7 days a week and shifts would be expected to rotate around thosedays. We open daily at 11am and close before 9pm of the evenings unless party’sbook. We offer Breakfast on a Saturday & Sunday and open from 9.30am onthese days. Shifts generally start one hour before service.

Expectations.

Maintainingexcellent standards of personal, food and kitchen hygiene. Ensuring complianceto procedures, menu specifications and recipes. Your role will involve you toproduce food, meeting portion controls, and budgetary constraints.

Withthe support and guidance for your colleagues you will eb able to follow ourmatrix and keep to the Gross Profit outlines. You will also learn how to beable to adapt and produce dishes to meet special dietary requirements and yourapprenticeship will support you in the knowledge and confidence in doing so. Youwill be supported in learning time keeping and organisational skills. You willalso learn principles of customer care and understanding customer needs.

Workingclosely with the team you will be supported in learning the responsibilities ofthe kitchen roles and day to day tasks and responsibilities. We will supportyou in understanding the regulations and kitchen procedures such as COSHH andHACCAP and you will be able to support the team in maintaining food safety andhandling standards. You will also be able to learn more about The KitchenDining Group’s ethos, vision and values.
