At SSP UK we now are recruiting for a talented and experienced General Manager to lead our teams at our licenced Starbucks and Pumpkin Cafe  at Woking Station.

We are the leading operator of restaurants, bars, cafes and food courts in travel locations. Established for more than 60 years, our operations feature a mix of food and beverage brands tailored specifically for each location. You will be joining a world-leading food service organisation with superb learning, development and progression opportunities, operating over 400 stores in the UK alone. 

Starting with a passion for coffee and great customer service, you'll look after all aspects of team management, ensuring operational standards and legal compliance are achieved and the store runs profitably, controlling costs and growing sales.

The day to day management of the store will include working with your team, creating and serving outstanding coffee, inspiring them to offer fantastic customer service at all times and helping them to achieve their career goals. 

To be successful in this role, you'll need to have:

* Previous experience of managing a diverse team of people in a fast-paced, high volume environment 
* Knowledge of the standards and structured processes required to work within a globally recognised brand
* Awareness and previous experience of the financial controls required when running a unit - (P&L, GP, labour and waste controls, driving sales etc.)
