voco Grand Central are looking for a Night Manager to join our growing Front Office team.

The Grand Ballroom is a charming spot for memorable celebrations, and 10 flexible meeting rooms take care of your business events.

As Night Manager, you will join a team that is passionate about delivering exceptional service where we believe that anything is possible, whilst delivering True Hospitality for Everyone.

Our Night Manager will work 4 on and 4 off working from 21:00pm to 09:00am

Key Responsibilities of the Night Manager:

  • Supports the smooth running of the front office department, where all aspects of the guest journey and experience are delivered to the highest level
  • Works proactively to improve guest satisfaction and comfort, delivering a positive and timely response to guest enquiries and problem resolution
  • Delivers on plans and objectives where guest relations initiatives & hotel targets are achieved
  • Manages the front office team fostering a culture of growth, development and performance within the department
  • Builds and maintains effective working relationships with all key stakeholders
  • Delivers an effective planned guest engagement programme
  • Ensures adherence and compliance to all legislation where due diligence requirements and best practice activities are planned, delivered and documented for internal and external audit, performing follow-up as required.

To succeed as our Night Manager, you will need:

  • Front Office duty management and team leadership experience for 2+ years in a property of similar size & standard.
  • Proven track record with success at working with loyalty schemes and enrolments
  • Have an awareness of market trends and the ability to implement new initiatives
  • Good understanding of systems to support driving results Opera, Delphi, Microsoft suite
  • Knowledge of a service optimization tool ‘ Quore ’ a plus
