About the role…

As a member of the Cairn Group of Hotels you are required to project a positive and enthusiastic attitude at all times, ensuring that the guest's needs are met to the highest possible standard and that customer care along with attention to detail is paramount at all times. All opportunities to increase sales should be encouraged. As a Bar Manager you will be responsible for the day to day running of the liquor operation, managing staff, and cash handling.

You'll be responsible for recruiting, training and motivating your team, doing regular stock takes and ordering as necessary; monitoring and ensuring you are on track to achieve the required GP. You'll also maintain the condition of the beverages within the venue, work closely with other managers to ensure your goals are aligned, and keep up to date with licencing, health and safety, and hygiene legislation. You will also contribute to creating the sites budget ensuring you work towards achieving this on a daily basis.

About you…

The successful candidate will have previous experience within a similar environment and possess excellent communication skills and excellent command of the English language.

You will also be of smart professional appearance, have extensive experience in customer care and will make guest satisfaction a priority. You will be punctual and flexible in order to meet the needs of the business (this role will typically be on a rota of 5 days from 7) and be an effective team player.
