Detailed Job Description

Route 66 is a popular restaurant in Haverhill, they are looking for an apprentice to join their team ,learn the trade and work towards gaining a Level 2 Hospitality Team Member Qualification.
The successful candidate will be required to carry out the following:
Food preparation including:
cooking hot food on the griddle
preparing cold sandwiches and salads
baking homemade pastries and cakes
Stock rotation
General cleaning duties in and around the restaurant
As we are a small establishment, at times you may also need to help with:
Serving customers
Taking food and drink orders
Serving food and drinks
Cash and payment handling

Skills Required

Good communication and listening skills
Willingness to learn
Ability to work as part of a team

Personal Qualities

Punctual
Must have good level of personal hygiene
Must be able to understand basic English

Qualifications Required

None, however, Maths and English will be assessed as part of the interview process.
