To have a deep understanding of accounting principles, supporting the wider Finance Team. You have a sharp focus on month end process and our balance sheet. You will also understand business partnering and be able to talk and coach finance with our General Managers.
- Deliver all month end tasks within internal deadlines

- Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of key accounting principles around accruals and prepayments and have the ability to deliver accurate financial results at month end

- Have the ability to analyse and be able to explain month end results against budget and prior year

• Responsible for posting all intercompany recharges and reconciliation

- Support the Financial Controller in preparing VAT returns

• Timely completion of balance sheet reconciliations including fixed assets, bank, prepayments and accruals

• Manage an accounts assistant and ensure all bank postings and daily sales reconciliations are completed and any issues escalated and resolved in a timely manner
